A screen recorder for people who ship

Record a walkthrough people actually watch.

Record your product once. iloveframes adds smooth zooms, a cinematic cursor, click sounds and a gorgeous frame on its own, so every demo looks like it took a day to edit.

zooms happen on their own
How it works

Hit record. Talk it through. That's the edit.

Most of the polish you'd spend an afternoon adding is decided while you record: where you click, what you type, where your cursor goes.

i.

Record

Pick a screen, turn on your camera or mic if you like, and walk through your product the way you would on a call.

ii.

It polishes itself

Zooms land on your clicks and typing, the cursor glides, clicks get sound, and everything sits on a beautiful background.

iii.

Tweak & export

Nudge a zoom, cut a pause, add a transition. Export a crisp MP4 up to 4K at 60fps, or a GIF for your docs.

Everything in the box

Small details, done with love.

Every feature is built for one thing: a walkthrough that feels calm, clear and expensive.

01

Auto-zoom that follows the story.

iloveframes watches where you click and type, then eases in to exactly that spot and back out when you move on. No keyframing, no guessing.

  • Zooms land on clicks and typing automatically
  • Follow the cursor, or lock onto a fixed point
  • Drag, stretch or add zooms on the timeline any time
  • Slow, normal or snappy ease

02

A cursor that moves like it means it.

Your real mouse path, smoothed with zero lag so it never drifts off what you clicked. It feels like someone who knows the product is driving.

  • Crisp macOS-style arrow and pointing hand over buttons
  • Fades away while you type, back the moment you move
  • Ripple or highlight on every click, any size you like
  • Hide it for any stretch with one drag

03

Clicks you can hear. Typing you can feel.

Soft, tactile sound design makes a silent demo feel alive. Every click and keystroke you recorded gets a sound you can tune or turn off.

  • Hand-tuned click, keyboard and zoom sounds
  • Drop your own music or voice-over onto the timeline
  • Mic with noise suppression, off until you turn it on

Put a face to the walkthrough.

Add your webcam as a soft bubble in any corner. It politely shrinks while the camera zooms in, so it never covers what you're showing.

  • Circle, rounded or portrait shapes
  • Any corner, mirrored or not, with a clean border
  • Shrinks automatically during zooms

Every frame, gallery ready.

Your screen sits on a considered backdrop with real depth: soft shadow, rounded corners and a glass edge. Pick a size for wherever it's going.

  • Wallpapers, 14 studio backgrounds, gradients or your own images
  • Padding, corner radius, shadow and blur
  • 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:3 and 4:5 for every platform

Edit like you talk: cut, trim, done.

A timeline that stays out of your way. Bring in other clips, cut the ums, and join it all with transitions that feel like the same screen changing.

  • Split at the playhead, trim, reorder and delete clips
  • Six transitions: crossfade, blur, zoom, slide, wipe and dip
  • Undo everything, preview full screen

07

Recordings that remember everything.

Every take keeps its clicks, typing and cursor path inside the file. Drop an old recording into a new project and the smart zooms and cursor just work.

  • One self-contained file per take, named ilfsrec_001, 002…
  • Webcam and mic travel with it
  • Combine takes from different days into one story

Screenshot Studio, for the still moments.

Paste a screenshot and give it the same treatment in seconds, ready for a tweet, a changelog or a landing page.

  • Paste, drop or open any image
  • Crop presets, borders, padding and shadow
  • Export PNG or JPG at 2×, or copy straight to clipboard

Questions

Good to know.

Is this a subscription?

No. You pay once and iloveframes is yours, including every update we ship. The $12 founding price is for the first 50 people; after that it's $24.

What do I get in the free trial?

The whole app for 24 hours from the moment you first open it, with nothing locked. If you love it, paste your license key in the Account page and keep going. Your projects stay exactly where they are.

Do my recordings get uploaded anywhere?

Never. Recording, editing and exporting all happen on your computer. The only thing iloveframes talks to the internet about is checking your license and looking for updates.

Why does Windows or macOS warn me when I install it?

We're an independent maker and the app isn't yet signed with a paid Microsoft or Apple certificate, so your computer shows a one-time warning. It's safe to continue; the download page walks you through it in about 20 seconds.

Which computers does it run on?

Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), and macOS 11 Big Sur or newer on both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Can I bring my own backgrounds, music and old recordings?

Yes. Add any image as a background, drop audio files onto the timeline, and import earlier recordings or other videos as clips. Recordings made with iloveframes keep their smart zooms and cursor when you bring them back in.

Your next demo could look like you meant it.

Free for 24 hours. No card, no account.
